A dislike of housework and a love of children, animals and the ridiculous has led to these creations.

 

Jan has been an inlander all her life, having grown up on a property in north west New South Wales.

 

After boarding school and art studies in Sydney, Jan returned to the country and married
With husband Tony she has raised three girls and a menagerie of friends - two legged and four, feathered and furred, many of which appear in her drawings.
